Why We Made This App (And Why Splitwise Isn't Great)
Hi! Welcome to Fuck_Splitwise. We copied Splitwise but made it better. Splitwise used to be okay. Now it's not. We will tell you why.
Problems with Splitwise
- Not Really Free: They let you do a few things for free. Then they stop you. You can only add a few costs per day. Or wait 10 seconds each time. People hate this. It makes the app hard to use.
- You Have to Pay: No one-time buy. Just keep paying for "extra" stuff like reports. Many users quit because of this.
- Looks Boring: The design is plain and old. It feels slow and not fun.
- Breaks Friendships: Tracking every small cost can start fights with friends.
App ratings went down. On Apple Store, it's now 3.8 out of 5.
